Match for Piano
for 2 pianos

Match owes its title to the idea of matching two performances, either two live performances (as in a piece for two pianists), or two performances one of which is live, and one of which is pre-recorded. The piece was composed with the aid of Koenig's Project One program as the score generator.
The performance heard here was produced by two Dutch pianists in Arnhem , The Netherlands., who adopted a more rapid tempo than was envisioned and thereby created new textural effects. Only by way of several listenings does one detect the layering of the 4 piano voices heard.
